What are the three C's?
Core muscles are mainly the abs, lower back, waist and pelvic floor. Think of these as your 'tree-trunk' or stabilising muscles. If they are weak and unstable, your body is more prone to injury. A strong, stable body begins with a strong core.
Cardio exercise gets your heart rate up and makes you out of breath, so could include brisk walking. It's important for most adults to have 30 minutes or more of cardio exercise on most days. This is how we burn fat, and it also keeps our bodily systems healthy and efficient.
Conditioning refers to the training and toning of your muscles in order to build strength and endurance. This also helps with weight management and potentially helps to reduce injury.
All of my classes are planned around the three C's to ensure you perform the exercises correctly and get a complete workout.
